RYT-200 Yoga Teacher
Lisa first experienced yoga in High School-she would practice with yoga journals PM Yoga to help her wind down and sleep. In early 2001 she took her first Bikram Yoga class and was hooked on the sweat, effort, the quiet meditiation, and the strength she found. She enjoyed practicing in a hot room while living in Vermont and being a part of a small community. In 2007 she moved to Arizona and opened her horizons by practicing at various studios and always keeping hot yoga as a staple. In 2011 she completed her 200 hour YTT at Inner Vision and began teaching as a way to spread joy and love.
Lisa has a background in mental health, substance abuse treatment, equipped with MSW and years in the field. She acquired training in Yoga Nidra as well as a 100 hour certificate in hypnotherapy. She feels honored every day to explore, teach, join, love, and play with others on and off the mat. You may find her rocking out in the weight room, on the spin bike, on a mountain, or most other forms of physical exercise - she loves to move! Lisa also loves peppermint patties, which has nothing to do with yoga other than its one of her happy places.
